Island Dreams Event Design is based out of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts and built on bringing your wedding and event dreams to life. With a background in architecture and planning, our focus starts with the master plan of your wedding. We’re located in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard. As your luxury wedding planner for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, we’ll come up with a colorful floor plan, so you can see all of the details before the event begins.
Vision
We start with your thoughts and images. We gather those into a cohesive visual board, and from there develop a visual Master Plan which includes seating design, table scapes, room layouts, flow, and more. With a passion for weddings, our team sees all of the important details that make every wedding special. We love to help you bring your imagination to life to form a cohesive event that you’ll never forget.
Mission
We want to help you visualize your event from start to finish. We draft a colorful floor plan for you to see all your details, before your event even begins. Our focus is on how each person will enjoy your wedding, which was instill during years in the field of luxury architectural design.
Team
Jamie Newhouse
Jamie has a passion for weddings, she sees details and loves to help you put your event visuals together into one cohesive event. With a Masters in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of technology in Boston. Jamie has been in the planning industry for ten years and is here to help you plan the event of your dreams. She has event experience on both the Island's of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. To her, it makes no difference if she was designing a luxury apartment, or a wedding day; the space needed to be well utilized for guests to be comfortable. She now lives on Martha's Vineyard year-round with her husband Brian, and tiny dog Charlie.
